Proposal:
Ensure Air National Guard fully integrated with the Advanced Air Battle Management System (ABMS) fielding process and provide for continued sustainment and modernization of the E-8C until ABMS is brought on line in accordance with Fiscal Year 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) language and the National Defense Strategy (NDS).
Recommendation: NGAUS supports the Air Force’s plan to base the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia (RAFB GA). This will require activation of an Air National Guard (ANG) transition strategy team in order identify and develop the initial ANG cadre for ABMS and also assist in determining the ABMS Total Force Wing(s) Structure.
In conjunction with the RAFB GA ABMS conversion effort, the Georgia ANG and it's Total Force Partners, require a fully funded sustainment of the E-8C until a draw down in line with NDAA FY19 language and the NDS.
